Team Lugar Wins Again!

Senator Lugar’s Capital Challenge running team has continued its dynastic run in the 3-mile race.  It was the 9th time Lugar’s team has won the Senate division in the 27 year history of the race. Lugar, 76, is the only person to have run in all 27 races.  His placement plus that of four staff members comprised the winning team.  A total of 22 members of Lugar’s staff participated in the race, which benefits the D.C. Special Olympics.
