Dear Friends: In September we collected more than 275,000 pounds of food for Hoosier food banks. Hoosiers Fighting Hunger brought together Kroger, Marsh and Walmart stores across the state in a first-of-its-kind statewide food drive. Hoosiers' generousity was overwhelming in this food drive and the fruits of our labor will help our food banks deal with the 30 percent increase in demand that have been experiencing and prepare them for the holiday season.
